THE LITURGY OF THE WORD
FIRST READING (์ 1๋ ์)
A Reading from the Book of Wisdom ย 3:1-9
The souls of the just are in the hand of God,
ย ย ย ย and no torment shall touch them.
They seemed, in the view of the foolish, to be dead;
ย ย ย ย and their passing away was thought an affliction
ย ย ย ย and their going forth from us, utter destruction.
But they are in peace.
For if before men, indeed, they be punished,
ย ย ย ย yet is their hope full of immortality;
chastised a little, they shall be greatly blessed,
ย ย ย ย because God tried them
ย ย ย ย and found them worthy of himself.
As gold in the furnace, he proved them,
ย ย ย ย and as sacrificial offerings he took them to himself.
In the time of their visitation they shall shine,
ย ย ย ย and shall dart about as sparks through stubble;
they shall judge nations and rule over peoples,
ย ย ย ย and the Lord shall be their King forever.
Those who trust in him shall understand truth,
ย ย ย ย and the faithful shall abide with him in love:
because grace and mercy are with his holy ones,
ย ย ย ย and his care is with his elect.
The word of the Lord.ย โ Thanks be to God.

SECOND READING (์ 2๋ ์)
A Reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to Romans ย 6:3-9
Brothers and sisters:
Are you unaware that we who were baptized into Christ Jesusย
were baptized into his death?
We were indeed buried with him through baptism into death,ย
so that, just as Christ was raised from the deadย
by the glory of the Father,ย
we too might live in newness of life.
For if we have grown into union with him through a death like his,ย
we shall also be united with him in the resurrection.
We know that our old self was crucified with him,ย
so that our sinful body might be done away with,ย
that we might no longer be in slavery to sin.
For a dead person has been absolved from sin.
If, then, we have died with Christ,
we believe that we shall also live with him.
We know that Christ, raised from the dead, dies no more;
death no longer has power over him.
The word of the Lord.ย โThanks be to God.

Jesus said to the crowds:
โEverything that the Father gives me will come to me,
and I will not reject anyone who comes to me,
because I came down from heaven not to do my own will
but the will of the one who sent me.
And this is the will of the one who sent me,
that I should not lose anything of what he gave me,
but that I should raise it on the last day.
For this is the will of my Father,

<Profession of Faith>- Niceno-Constantinopolitan Creed
I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.ย
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages.ย
God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made.ย
For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.ย
He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.ย
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end.ย
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son,ย
who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.ย
I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.ย
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen.ย
<The Universal Prayer> - ๋ณดํธ ์งํฅ ๊ธฐ๋ย ย
+ In faith, we know that God hears our prayers and forgives our sins.ย Let us offer to him the needs of this community. Let us turn to him with our needs.ย
1. That all our beloved dead find eternal rest in the hope of the resurrection of Christ, our Redeemer and Savior, we pray to the Lord. โ Lord, hear our prayer.
2. For the Church, that she may offer the consoling ministry of Christ to those who grieve, we pray to the Lord. โ Lord, hear our prayer.
3. For those who mourn the dead, may they be comforted, we pray to the Lord. โ Lord, hear our prayer.
4. For those who minister to the dying and grieving, may they be strengthened in love, we pray to the Lord. โ Lord, hear our prayer.
5. For the sick and dying, may they be strengthened in faith, we pray to the Lord. โ Lord, hear our prayer.
+ God of compassion, you promise eternal life to those who follow you.ย Raise the dead to life in you and keep the faithful ever in your care. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.ย

<Preface>
+ The Lord be with you.ย ย
โ And with your spirit.ย
+ Lift up your hearts.ย ย
โ We lift them up to the Lord.ย
+ Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.ย ย ย
โ It is right and just.ย
+ It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere to give you thanks, Lord, holy Father, almighty and eternal God.
For by your providence the blessed Apostles Peter and Paul bring us joy: Peter, foremost in confessing the faith, Paul, its ourstanding preacher, Peter, who established the early Church from the remnant of Israel, Paul, master and teacher of the Gentiles that you call.ย ย
And so, each in a different way gathered togather the one family of Christ; and revered together throughout the world, they share one Martyr's crown.
And therefore, with all the Angels and Saints, we praise you, as without end we acclaim:
โ Holy, holy, holy Lord God of hosts, heaven and earth are full of your glory.ย Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.ย
[Please kneel]
๏ผ You are indeed Holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness. Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall, so that they may become for us the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his Passion, he took bread and, giving thanks, broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying:
TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND EAT OF IT, FOR THIS IS MY BODY, WHICH WILL BE GIVEN UP FOR YOU.ย
In similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice and, once more giving thanks, he gave it to his disciples, saying:
TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND DRINK FROM IT, FOR THIS IS THE CHALICE OF MY BLOOD, THE BLOOD OF THE NEW AND ETERNAL COVENANT, WHICH WILL BE POURED OUT FOR YOU AND FOR MANY FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS. DO THIS IN MEMORY OF ME.ย
๏ผ The mystery of faith.ย
โ We proclaim your Death, O Lord, and profess your Resurrection until you come again.ย
+ Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his Death and Resurrection. We offer you, Lord, the Bread of life and Chalice of salvation, giving thanks that you have held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you. Humbly we pray that, partaking of the Body and Blood of Christ, we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit. Remember, Lord, your Church, spread throughout the world, and bring her to the fullness of charity, together with Leo XVI, our Pope, and John the Baptist, our Bishop and all the clergy. Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection, and all who died in your mercy: welcome them into the light of your face. Have mercy on us all, we pray, that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, with the blessed Apostles, and all the Saints who have pleased you throughout the ages, we may merit to be coheirs to eternal life, and may praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.ย
+ Through Him, and with Him, and in Him, O God, almighty Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is yours, for ever and ever.ย ย
โ Amen.ย

+ At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:ย
โ Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.ย
+ Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.ย
โ For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever.ย
<Sign of Peace>
+ Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your Apostles: Peace I leave you, my peace I give you; look not on our sins, but on the faith of your Church, and graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance with your will. Who live and reign for ever and ever.ย
โ Amen.ย
+ The peace of the Lord be with you always.ย
โ And with your spirit.ย
+ Let us offer each other the sign of peace.ย
โ Peace be with you.

[THE JUBILEE PRAYER]
Father in heaven,
may the faith you have given us
in your Son, Jesus Christ, our brother,
and the flame of charity enkindled
in our hearts by the Holy Spirit,
reawaken in us the blessed hope
for the coming of your Kingdom.
May your grace transform
us into tireless cultivators of the seeds
of the Gospel.
May those seeds transform fromย
within both humanity and the whole cosmos
in the sure expectation
of a new heaven and a new earth,
when, with the powers of Evil vanquished,
your glory will shine eternally.
May the grace of the Jubilee
reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope,
a yearning for the treasures of heaven.
May that same grace spread
the joy and peace of our Redeemer
throughout the earth.
To you our God, eternally blessed,
be glory and praise for ever.
Amen.

The Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
