THE LITURGY OF THE WORD
FIRST READING (제 1독서)
A Reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians 1:15-23
Brothers and sisters:
Hearing of your faith in the Lord Jesus
and of your love for all the holy ones,
I do not cease giving thanks for you,
remembering you in my prayers,
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory,
may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation
resulting in knowledge of him.
May the eyes of your hearts be enlightened,
that you may know what is the hope that belongs to his call,
what are the riches of glory
in his inheritance among the holy ones,
and what is the surpassing greatness of his power
for us who believe,
in accord with the exercise of his great might,
which he worked in Christ,
raising him from the dead
and seating him at his right hand in the heavens,
far above every principality, authority, power, and dominion,
and every name that is named
not only in this age but also in the one to come.
And he put all things beneath his feet
and gave him as head over all things to the Church,
which is his Body,
the fullness of the one who fills all things in every way.
The word of the Lord. ◎ Thanks be to God.
RESPONSORIAL PSALM (화답송)
◎ You have given your Son rule over the works of your hands.
○ O LORD, our LORD,
how glorious is your name over all the earth!
You have exalted your majesty above the heavens.
Out of the mouths of babes and sucklings
you have fashioned praise because of your foes.
come before him with joyful song.
○ When I behold your heavens, the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars which you set in place—
What is man that you should be mindful of him,
or the son of man that you should care for him?
○ You have made him little less than the angels,
and crowned him with glory and honor.
You have given him rule over the works of your hands,
putting all things under his feet.

GOSPEL (복음)
+ The Lord be with you.
○ And with your spirit.
+ A reading from the holy Gospel according to ...
○ Glory to you, O Lord.
+ A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke 12:8-12
Jesus said to his disciples:
“I tell you,
everyone who acknowledges me before others
the Son of Man will acknowledge before the angels of God.
But whoever denies me before others
will be denied before the angels of God.
“Everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven,
but the one who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit
will not be forgiven.
When they take you before synagogues and before rulers and authorities,
do not worry about how or what your defense will be
or about what you are to say.
For the Holy Spirit will teach you at that moment what you should say.”
+ The Gospel of the Lord.
Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

<Profession of Faith>- Niceno-Constantinopolitan Creed
I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.
I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen.
<The Universal Prayer>
+ Brothers and sisters, as we gather at this holy sanctuary of Namyang under the maternal care of the Blessed Virgin Mary, let us turn to our Heavenly Father with confidence, presenting to Him the needs of the Church and the entire world.
1. For the Holy Church: That through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Namyang, the Church may always be a refuge of comfort and healing for the broken-hearted, and faithfully proclaim the light of the Gospel to the ends of the earth. We pray to the Lord. ◎ Lord, hear our prayer.
2. For peace in the world and the Korean Peninsula: That through the prayers offered at this holy sanctuary of peace, all leaders of nations may work together to end divisions and conflicts, and that the grace of reconciliation and true peace may touch our divided homeland. We pray to the Lord., we pray to the Lord. ◎
3. For all who suffer and face persecution: That inspired by the faith of the unnamed martyrs who shed their blood on this holy ground, those who are bearing the heavy crosses of illness, poverty, or injustice may find spiritual strength and deep consolation in the embrace of our Heavenly Mother. We pray to the Lord., we pray to the Lord. ◎
4. For our pilgrim community gathered here today: That as we walk the path of the Rosary and celebrate this Holy Mass today, our hearts may be renewed, our families blessed, and we may return home as living witnesses of Christ's love and peace, we pray to the Lord. ◎
+ Almighty and eternal God, look with favor upon the prayers of your pilgrim people, and through the intercession of Our Lady of Namyang and our holy martyrs, grant what we ask in faith according to your holy will. Through Christ our Lord.
◎ Amen.

, as they acclaim:
◎ (Song#13) Holy, holy, holy Lord God of hosts, heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.
[Please kneel]
+ You are indeed Holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness. Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall, so that they may become for us the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his Passion, he took bread and, giving thanks, broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying:
TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND EAT OF IT, FOR THIS IS MY BODY, WHICH WILL BE GIVEN UP FOR YOU.
In similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice and, once more giving thanks, he gave it to his disciples, saying:
TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND DRINK FROM IT, FOR THIS IS THE CHALICE OF MY BLOOD, THE BLOOD OF THE NEW AND ETERNAL COVENANT, WHICH WILL BE POURED OUT FOR YOU AND FOR MANY FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS. DO THIS IN MEMORY OF ME.
+ The mystery of faith.
◎ (Song#16) We proclaim your Death, O Lord, and profess your Resurrection until you come again.
+ Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his Death and Resurrection. We offer you, Lord, the Bread of life and Chalice of salvation, giving thanks that you have held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you. Humbly we pray that, partaking of the Body and Blood of Christ, we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit. Remember, Lord, your Church, spread throughout the world, and bring her to the fullness of charity, together with ___. our Pope, and ___, our Bishop and all the clergy. Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection, and all who died in your mercy: welcome them into the light of your face. Have mercy on us all, we pray, that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, with the blessed Apostles, and all the Saints who have pleased you throughout the ages, we may merit to be coheirs to eternal life, and may praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
+ Through Him, and with Him, and in Him, O God, almighty Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is yours, for ever and ever.
◎ (Song#20) Amen.
