THE LITURGY OF THE WORD

FIRST READING (제 1독서)

A Reading from the first Book of Samuel 26:2, 7-9, 12-13, 22-23

In those days, Saul went down to the desert of Ziph

with three thousand picked men of Israel,

to search for David in the desert of Ziph.

So David and Abishai went among Saul’s soldiers by night

and found Saul lying asleep within the barricade,

with his spear thrust into the ground at his head

and Abner and his men sleeping around him.

Abishai whispered to David:

“God has delivered your enemy into your grasp this day.

Let me nail him to the ground with one thrust of the spear;

I will not need a second thrust!”

But David said to Abishai, “Do not harm him,

for who can lay hands on the LORD’s anointed and remain unpunished?”

So David took the spear and the water jug from their place at Saul’s head,

and they got away without anyone’s seeing or knowing or awakening.

All remained asleep,

because the LORD had put them into a deep slumber.

Going across to an opposite slope,

David stood on a remote hilltop

at a great distance from Abner, son of Ner, and the troops.

He said: “Here is the king’s spear.

Let an attendant come over to get it.

The LORD will reward each man for his justice and faithfulness.

Today, though the LORD delivered you into my grasp,

I would not harm the LORD’s anointed.”

그 무렵 2 사울은 이스라엘에서 뽑은 부하 삼천 명을 거느리고

지프 광야에 있는 다윗을 찾아 그곳으로 내려갔다.

7 다윗은 아비사이를 데리고 밤을 타서 군대가 있는 곳으로 다가갔다.

그때 사울은 진지 안에서 머리맡 땅바닥에 창을 꽂아 놓고 잠들어 있었다.

아브네르와 그의 군사들도 사울을 둘러싸고 잠들어 있었다.

8 아비사이가 다윗에게 말하였다.

“하느님께서 오늘 원수를 장군님 손에 넘기셨으니,

이 창으로 그를 단번에 땅에 박아 놓겠습니다. 두 번 찌를 것도 없습니다.”

9 그러나 다윗이 아비사이를 타일렀다. “그분을 해쳐서는 안 된다.

누가 감히 주님의 기름부음받은이에게 손을 대고도 벌받지 않을 수 있겠느냐?”

12 다윗은 사울의 머리맡에서 창과 물병을 가지고 나왔다.

주님께서 그들 위에 깊은 잠을 쏟으시어 그들이 모두 잠들었기 때문에,

다윗을 본 사람도 알아채거나 잠을 깬 사람도 없었다.

13 다윗은 맞은쪽으로 건너가 상대와 거리를 멀리 두고

산꼭대기에 서서, 22 응답하였다.

“여기 임금님의 창이 있습니다. 젊은이 하나가 건너와 가져가게 하십시오.

23 주님은 누구에게나 그 의로움과 진실을 되갚아 주시는 분이십니다.

오늘 주님께서 임금님을 제 손에 넘겨주셨지만,

저는 주님의 기름부음받은이에게 손을 대려 하지 않았습니다.”

RESPONSORIAL PSALM (화답송)

◎ The Lord is kind and merciful.

○ Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all my being, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.

A reading from the first Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians   15:45-49

Brothers and sisters:

It is written, The first man, Adam, became a living being,

the last Adam a life-giving spirit.

But the spiritual was not first;

rather the natural and then the spiritual.

The first man was from the earth, earthly;

the second man, from heaven.

As was the earthly one, so also are the earthly,

and as is the heavenly one, so also are the heavenly.

Just as we have borne the image of the earthly one,

we shall also bear the image of the heavenly one.

형제 여러분, 45 성경에 이렇게 기록되어 있습니다.

“첫 인간 아담이 생명체가 되었다.” 마지막 아담은 생명을 주는 영이 되셨습니다.

46 그러나 먼저 있었던 것은 영적인 것이 아니라 물질적인 것이었습니다.

영적인 것은 그다음입니다.

47 첫 인간은 땅에서 나와 흙으로 된 사람입니다. 둘째 인간은 하늘에서 왔습니다.

48 흙으로 된 그 사람이 그러하면 흙으로 된 다른 사람들도 마찬가지입니다.

하늘에 속한 그분께서 그러하시면 하늘에 속한 다른 사람들도 마찬가지입니다.

49 우리가 흙으로 된 그 사람의 모습을 지녔듯이,

하늘에 속한 그분의 모습도 지니게 될 것입니다.

do not withhold even your tunic.

Give to everyone who asks of you,

and from the one who takes what is yours do not demand it back.

Even sinners love those who love them.

And if you do good to those who do good to you,

what credit is that to you?

Even sinners do the same.

If you lend money to those from whom you expect repayment,

<HOMILY> - 강론

<Profession of Faith>- Niceno-Constantinopolitan Creed

I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. 

I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. 

God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. 

For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.

For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. 

He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. 

He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end. 

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, 

who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. 

I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. 

I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen. 

<The Universal Prayer>  

+ God, who forgives sinners, will hear our prayers. Let us approach with confidence and ask for what we need.

1. For the Church of Christ, for all who live life fully in the Eucharist, we pray to the Lord.
